A bit of History

We have been creating art and photography since the 1970′s and have been serving the artistic needs of the Georgina region since 1980. Our studio which we call Silver Wind Studio has been live on the web continuously in one form or another since 1996

This marks our 15 th year of  web presence as our website evolved into its current form!

About us

Combining Linda’s passionate love of painting with Peter’s hungry, patient lens has produced a lovely marriage of the arts at Silver Wind Studio.

His photographs of wildlife in a natural habitat blend beautifully with her acrylics and watercolors, commissioned portraits of dear-to-heart settings, people and animals.

Linda’s work embraces all of Creation: she is one day painting a personal portrait and next day painting a wall-mural or somebody’s favorite transport-trailer. She delights in doing matte-board extensions of paintings, (the picture-beyond-the-frame) and her own vision blends something new into every project.

Peter’s photographs have been selected for publication and are found in private collections on several continents.

Sometimes, his photographs will lead to her to the brush and her paintings inform his vision as well, a silver wind mingling. Peter and Linda are available by appointment.
